HoopsQuest is holding a series of shooting and free throws basketball clinics.
The clinic will be offered for boys and girls, 5th - 12th grade, Fridays and Sundays, December 8, 2006 - January 7, 2007 at Maryville Academy in Des Plaines, IL. Sessions will be held 7:30 - 9 p.m. There will be no sessions on Dec. 24 or Dec. 31.

Miracle AAU Travel Team Tryouts in Winnetka, IL

Miracle Basketball is holding tryouts for an 8th grade, girls AAU travel team to be located in Winnetka, Illinois for the fall season. Tryouts will be held at Sacred Heart School, Friday, October 13, 2006, 4:30 - 6 p.m.

Congratulations Rockford Wildcats Tournament Champions

The Rising Stars 8th grade girls team won the Rockford Wildcats Tournament Championship on August 13, 2006. The team was 6-1 for the weekend and topped a Michigan team that has won the Michigan AAU State Championship three of the last four years.
Player of the Game honors were received three times by Kyra Navarette, twice by Claire DiMario, and once by Abbey Schmitt and Molly Hulseman. Congratulations to the Rising Stars on ending the summer season with a well deserved tournament championship win.

Recruiting 101 Workshop, June 5 - 26, 2006

Whether you are an athlete who desires to be recruited, an athlete who is currently being recruited or a parent, the recruiting process can be confusing and overwhelming. This workshop is designed to guide athletes and their families through the process, empowering the recruit with the knowledge needed to make the best decision for his or her future.
The workshop will be offered for high school boys and girls, Mondays, June 5-26, 2006 at Joy of the Game in Deerfield, IL. Freshmen and sophomores will meet 7 - 8:15 p.m. Juniors and seniors will meet 8:15 - 9:30 p.m.

College Game Day Basketball Clinics Season Ends

HoopsQuest and the Chicago Sky teamed up in the 2005-06 college season to offer ball handling and shooting clinics before local college games. Participants improved their skills and enjoyed free admission to the featured college game of the day. Participants also received free WNBA Chicago Sky souvenirs.
College Game Day Basketball Clinics were held at Concordia University, Lake Forest College, and Northwestern University in the 2005-06 season.
The 2005-06 College Game Day Basketball Clinics season is over. Look for these clinics again in the 2006-07 college season.
