Post Moves/Offensive Rebounds Basketball Clinics
HoopsQuest is holding a series of post moves/offensive rebounds basketball clinics. The clinic is for boys and girls, 5th - 8th Grade and will be held at Fitness Formula Club in Oak Park, Illinois.
Clinic Overview
Participants will learn the fundamentals of post moves, back-to-the-basket play and offensive rebounding. Drills will focus on the form and footwork of:
- Positioning
- The Catch
- Chin and Check
- Explosion, Elevation, and Finish
- Offensive Rebounding
- Live Play to Practice the Skills Learned
Instructors
Kathleen Weber
Kathleen Weber has eleven years of experience coaching Division I basketball at DePaul University, the University of Notre Dame and the University of North Carolina at Asheville. For the past four years she has trained elite high school, college, and professional athletes including Northwestern University and the WNBA's Chicago Sky.
